Jeweled Butterfly

Hello friends! What a busy week we'll have on the blog this week! I went from hardly posting the past couple of weeks to several days in a row here, coming up! I hope you enjoy the projects I will have to show you!

I made this card for this week's Tuesday Trigger photo - aren't these baubles divine? I was inspired by both the color palette and the metallic aspects of this bracelet when I made my card - I started with my two new favorite colors - Island Indigo and Pool Party for the card base, ran the lighter panel through an embossing folder and inked the edges and the embossing to give it more visual texture. I used a Spellbinders die and cut out a gold metallic tag, jeweled a butterfly, and added a sprig of baubles and a few more butterflies to finish it off that I punched from a soap wrapper! Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Cardstock - Island Indigo, Pool Party, Old Olive (SU!), Tag Die/Metallic Sheet (Spellbinders), Embossing Folder (Tim Holtz), Ink - Tea Dye Duo (PTI), Jewel Sprig (Prima), Cuttlebug/Butterfly Die - Provo Craft, Butterfly Punch - Martha Stewart
