Waltzingmouse Stamps - June Release Blog Hop!

Hello friends - today is release day at Waltzingmouse Stamps!  I hope you've been enjoying our previews this week and can't wait to see which sets you pick up and your creations with them!  If you've just happened by my blog today, head over to the WMS blog to get started on our little hop!

For my project today, I'm using a set you haven't seen yet called "Charmed!"  This set will be given away to the first 50 orders over £60GBP through the store and made available for purchase after the giveaway.  Fun!  I started off with a medium shipping tag and stamped several of the little quilt squares from the set onto the tag.  I stamped the little button and thread onto the tag and finished it with one of the sentiments.  This set might be small but it is chock full of fun images you will love!

I'm so glad you could join me for this release and don't forget to comment along today to win a prize - a stamp set of choice from a random drawing from comments left on all of the blogs today!  You have until July 2nd at 3:59 AM Pacific to leave comments and the winner will be posted on the WMS blog on July 4th.

Waltzingmouse Stamps - June Previews Day 3

Hello friends and welcome to the last of three days of previews for the June release at Waltzingmouse Stamps!  What do you think of this release so far?  I love it!!  If you just happened by today, head over to the WMS blog to see more and for links to everyone who will be showcasing new sets today!

For my first project, I'm previewing one of my new favorite sets - Big Berry Cherry!  I absolutely adore this set and know I will use it a ton!!  I layered a couple of fun patterned papers and a journaling card that I stamped with the sentiment and the cherry stem.  I stamped the two cherries onto some white cardstock, punched them out using my 1 3/8" punch (easy peasy!), and then popped them up using some foam tape.  I finished the card with some washi tape, wooden stars, and a little arrow clip.

This next project showcases another new set of country labels - Country Labels 14 - which I just adore!  I started off with a couple of patterned papers and a recipe card sticker layered over some crochet trim.  I stamped the sticker with one of the labels and a sentiment from the set and finished the card off with a little cherry chipboard sticker!  More cherries!!  :)

Thank you so much for visiting and I hope you can visit the other ladies who are previewing today -

Waltzingmouse Stamps - June Previews Day 2

Hello friends and welcome to the second of three days of previews for the June release at Waltzingmouse Stamps!  There are quite a few new sets we'll be showcasing over the next few days that will be released on Sunday!  If you just happened by today, head over to the WMS blog to see more and for links to everyone who will be showcasing new sets today!

For my project, I've used a new large background stamp (Crackle-Reverse) along with Country Labels 4 which was released last month.  I stamped the background onto a panel of cream cardstock and adhered it to a little paper bag with a vintage print using some fabric tape.  I stamped the label and cut it by hand (what happens when the craft room is in such disarray that I couldn't even get to the Cuttlebug!) and stamped one of the sentiments from the Labels set into the center.  I layered some paper flowers, twine, and some stick pins to finish it off.  I love how it turned out and can't wait to find someone to give it to!  :)

Waltzingmouse Stamps - June Previews Day 1

Hello friends and welcome to the first of three days of previews for the June release at Waltzingmouse Stamps!  I am so excited about this release and just know you will love what you will be seeing over the next few days!  If you just happened by today, head over to the WMS blog to see more and for links to everyone who will be showcasing new sets today!

For my project, I'm using "You're a Doll - Additions" which is the perfect compliment to the full "Doll" set you can see other members of the DT previewing!  I started off with a medium shipping tag covered with a piece of patterned paper.  I added a strip of stickers to the bottom and then stamped the doll face in gray to match and punched it out.  I finished the tag with one of the sentiments from the sets and a couple of little hearts.

Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll see you back here tomorrow with something a little more background-y!  Here are the links to the other DT posting today -

You Are My Everything - PDCC #188

Hello friends and welcome to another fabulous week at The Play Date Cafe!  Check out these fun colors -
For my project, I started off with a purple card base and layered some patterned paper with both the light pink and the raspberry on top.  I added some pink, velvet ribbon to the side of the small panel and love the little bit of texture it gives!  I stamped the sentiment and heart onto a journaling spot and added a little banner and some sequins to the card.

Thanks so much for visiting today and I can't wait to see what you create with these beauties!

Supplies:  Stamps/DP/Journaling Card/Banner - You & Me collection (Elle's Studio), Velvet Trim (my stash), Cardstock/Ink - Almost Amethyst (SU!), Sequins (Studio Calico)

Even More - Waltzingmouse May Inspiration!

Hello friends!  Today I have another project to share with the wonderful May Walzingmouse Stamps release!  Are you enjoying the continuing projects the DT has been sharing since the release "went live"?  I know I sure am!

For these little table cards, I used the Country Labels 4 set and stamped the background of the little kraft cards with the cute wreath image in pale brown ink.  I stamped the labels in brown onto some lightly patterned paper and then stamped the little house and one of the sentiments from the set onto the labels. I thought the colors would be perfect for a fall or Thanksgiving get together (hard to think about in the early (and hot!) summer, though!)  :)  I layered the labels over some crochet trim for some texture.

I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen for May and starting later this week, I'll be previewing sets for the June release so stay tuned!  In the meantime, these are the other ladies joining me today and I hope you can stop by their blogs, too -

Hello friends and welcome to the new release blog hop with The Craft's Meow!  Today, three new sets will be available for purchase and one of the sets I've used today, "Fancy Flourishes" will be the gift with $50 purchase!  If you're here from Jennie's blog, you're in the right spot.  If not, head over to the TCM blog to get started!

Now for the fun part - prizes!  Readers will be eligible to win all 4 new sets from TCM as Lisa will pick a random winner one designer's blog.  So, the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win!  The deadline to comment is 8:00pm PDT, Sunday June 23rd.

Thanks so much for visiting today and now you're off to Jessica's blog for some more inspiration!

More Waltzingmouse May Inspiration!

This is my third (!) post of the day.  If you're looking for my previews for The Craft's Meow or The Play Date Cafe, please scroll down.  :)
Hello friends!  Today I've got some more inspiration from the May release at Waltzingmouse Stamps to share with you!  Are you liking the extended release festivities this month?  I love seeing new projects week after week with these amazing stamps!

I happened to be annoyedly straightening my craft area (do you ever feel like your crafty walls are caving in on you??) when I stumbled across this wonderful Authentique paper collection and knew right away I wanted to use it this week!  I used one of the papers as a background and cut another into a Polaroid frame with a new die.  I stamped the frame with stars and one sentiment from the set and added a couple of stickers from the paper collection.  I finished the card off with gorgeous Lady Liberty stamped in silver ink, cut out, and popped up with foam tape.

I hope you liked this project today and I'll see you back again next week with something else made with these wonderful stamps!  In the meantime, I hope you can head over to visit some of the other DT blogs for more inspiration!

Precious and Few - PDCC #187

Hello friends and welcome to another wonderful color story with The Play Date Cafe!  I love these bright colors and can't wait to see what you create with them -

I originally made this card for The Craft's Meow new release blog hop thinking both posts fell on the same day but realized that they didn't!  So, you're officially getting another sneak peek of a couple of the new sets I previewed earlier this week!  :)  I've been doing okay with some of the forgetfulness that comes with pregnancy but the clumsiness is another story entirely!  Just the other day, I thought I was setting a cup down on the counter but completely missed the counter and basically just dropped the cup onto the floor.  Thankfully it was plastic and only full of ice...  yikes!

Anyway, I started off with an orange card base and layered a piece of patterned paper on top that approximates a pale version of the jade.  I stamped and cut out the journaling card and then stamped it with some lovely petunias in jade and chartruese and finishd the card with some crochet trim and a lovely sentiment.

Don't forget to link up by Tuesday for a chance at a wonderful prize from our sponsor this week!  Thanks so much for visiting!

Supplies:  Stamps (TCM), DP (Studio Calico), Cardstock - Only Orange, Whisper White (SU!), Ink - Basic Black, Sage Shadow, Certainly Celery (SU!), Crochet Trim (May Arts), Washi Tape (Studio Calico)

The Craft's Meow - Day 4 Previews!

Hello friends and welcome to release week at The Craft's Meow!  Today is the last day of previews before tomorrow's big release blog hop!  Are you excited about what you've seen so far?  The last new set we are previewing is "Fancy Flourishes" by Nina B Designs!  I love the versatility of this set and know you will, too!

For this project, I started off with a cream card base and layered a musical note background paper on top.  I cut out a coordinating piece of colorblocked paper and stamped the sentiment and flourishes on top in black ink and then finished it off with a big tulle bow.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Supplies:  Stamps (TCM), DP - Lucky Charm collection (Dear Lizzy/AC), Tulle (my stash), Ink - Basic Black (SU!), Cardstock - Ivory (The Kraft Outlet)

The Craft's Meow - Day 3 Previews!

Hello friends and welcome to release week at The Craft's Meow!  We will be previewing four new sets over the next few days which will be available on the 21st!  Fun!  For day 3, the DT is showcasing a stamp set that is perfect for your Project Life projects (and cards, and layouts, and...), "Sweet Memories" by Nina B Designs!
I'm gingerly stepping my toe into the water of Project Life and this set is perfect for your projects!  I started out with a couple of cards from my Studio Calico PL kit this month and stamped the frames and sentiments onto the cards.  On one, I added some number stickers to list "blessings and joys" and on the other, I added a couple of paper flowers and some sequins.  In retrospect, I realize the flowers are probably too thick for the PL protectors, but it would make a great element to layer onto a card!  Look for it on another project coming up!  :)

Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll see you back here tomorrow with something a little "fancy"!

Supplies:  Stamps (TCM), Journaling Cards/Number Stickers - Roundabout kit (Studio Calico), Paper Flowers (Prima), Sequins (Studio Calico)

The Craft's Meow - Day 2 Previews!

Hello friends and welcome to release week at The Craft's Meow!  We will be previewing four new sets over the next few days which will be available on the 21st!  Fun!  For our second day of previews, we have "Kindred Spirits" designed by Karen Baker!  I really loved working with the multi-step stamping here and know you will, too!
For this project, I started off with a pre-printed postcard tag.  I just love the vintage look of this background with those amazing flowers.  I think pansies are so friendly and just love their smiling faces in the garden!  First I stamped the sentiment onto the address lines of the post card and then I stamped the outlines of the large and small flowers in brown ink on the main body of the postcard.  I stamped the flowers using two of each purple and yellow and finished the card with some pale green leaves (the leaves also have multi-step options but I chose not to use them here)

I just know you'll love this set as much as I do!  Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll see you back here with more of my Project (sputtering to) Life!  :)

Supplies:  Stamps (TCM), Postcard Tag (The Kraft Outlet), Ink - Chocolate Chip, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, YoYo Yellow, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery (SU!), Trim (May Arts), Twine (Trendy Twine)

Hello friends and welcome to release week at The Craft's Meow!  We will be previewing four new sets over the next few days which will be available on the 21st!  Fun!  First up is "Beautiful Rose" by Nina B Designs!
I started off with a brown card base and layered some fun heart patterned paper and some burlap ribbon over the top.  I stamped and pieced the large roses and leaves image onto a medium shipping tag tied with some crochet trim.  I finished the card with the love label (perfectly fits my 1.75" circle punch!) and some gem brads.

Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll see you back here tomorrow with flowers of a different kind!  :)

Waltzingmouse May Inspiration!

Hello friends!  How is your week treating you so far?  Things have been a bit hectic at work so is it a bad thing that I'm starting to look forward to my maternity leave?  Somehow I think hectic won't begin to describe what we'll be dealing with when the little arrives but it will be different, right?  Right?  :)

Anyway, if you've yet to see the new May goodies released by Waltzingmouse Stamps, head over to the store to check them out!  I just love them!  The DT was split up a bit this month with the first half showcasing the new sets during preview week and the other half showcasing the sets post-release and that is what I'm doing on Thursdays this month!

For this project, I used the new "Country Labels 4" to create this fun tag!  I started off with a medium shipping tag that I stamped with the wreath image from the set and stamped one of the sentiments in the center of the tag.  I stamped one of the labels onto a piece of cork, cut it out like a frame, and adhered it to the tag using foam squares to pop it up.  I added some sequins to the centers of the wreaths, and stamped some foliage trim.  I finished the tag with a fun piece of ribbon.

I hope you liked this project today and I'll see you back again next week with something else made with these wonderful stamps!  In the meantime, I hope you can head over to visit some of the other DT blogs for more inspiration!

The Sweet Taste of Summer - PDCC #186

Hello friends!  Today marks the beginning of color splash week at The Play Date Cafe!  I just love this nectarine splash, how about you?
For my project this week, I started off with a lightly patterned paper background that I wrapped with some silver and white twine.  I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the paper and added a die cut, popsicle sticker and some sequins to finish the card off!

I can't wait to see what you create with this splash!  Don't forget to link up by Tuesday for a chance to win a wonderful prize provided by our sponsor this week!  Head over to the PDCC blog for more info!

The Craft's Meow - June Blog Hop!

Hello friends and welcome to the June blog hop with The Craft's Meow!  If you're here from Jennie's blog, you're in the right spot.  If not, head over to the TCM blog to get started!
In honor of Father's Day, this month our theme is "masculine" and I had a ball making this birthday card using one of my absolute favorite stamp sets - "Chalkboard Birthday"!  I started off with a brown card base and then layered a panel of woodgrain paper that I edged with some brown ink.  I then layered a  transparency of some old-fashioned planes over the card and finished with a little folder that I stamped with one of the sentiments from the set.
This shot shows the little folder open a bit with a gift card peeking out!  Yes, I've had that forever and wonder how much money was left unused after Borders went out of business, lol!  :)

So, on to the fun stuff - one lucky commenter will win a stamp set of their choice just for commenting!  The winner will be chosen from the comments left on all blogs including the store blog, so leave a little love on each blog to have the most chances to win!  The deadline for comments is 11:59 EST, Sunday June 9th and the winner will be announced Monday, June 10th.

Thanks so much for visiting today and now head over to Jessica's blog for more inspiration!

Supplies:  Stamps (TCM), DP/Transparency/Folder - Composition and Color collection (Webster's Pages), Ink - Basic Black (SU!), Tea Dye Duo (PTI), Cardstock - Chocolate Chip (SU!)

Never Give Up - PDCC #185

Hello friends and welcome to a brand new week of colorful inspiration with The Play Date Cafe!  This week we are sponsored by Great Impressions Stamps and the DT all got to play with a couple of really cute stamps!  Check out these fun colors - Magenta, Teal, and Light Gray -
I just got the new Crate Paper collection in the mail and it just happened to be full of the perfect colors for the challenge this week!  I layered two of the patterned papers over a gray card base and then stamped a ticket vertically with the "never give up" sentiment.  I layered a chipboard frame onto the card and stamped the "elephant with kite" stamp in the center.  I stamped him again, colored him and the kite with my Copics, and then pieced it over the patterned paper.  I finished the card with a little twine bow.

Thanks so much for visiting today and don't forget to link up by Tuesday for a chance at a wonderful prize!

Supplies:  Stamps (Great Impressions), DP/Embellishments - The Pier collection - Great Impressions Stamps, Copic Markers, Ink - Basic Black (SU!), foam squares, Twine (The Twinery)
