Shine Brightly

Today I'm happy to share with you the card I made for this week's Papercraft Star color challenge! I love this springy palette and can't wait to see what you create with it!
You may have seen over the past few weeks how much I love to paper piece and this card is another one of my favorites! Any outline image stamp is perfect for this technique and all it takes is a bit of patience to cut out what you want to piece! I highly recommend giving piecing a try - I'm sure you'll love the results!

This card was made from the adorable new Lunar Lights set at Lawn Fawn. Lawn Fawn sets are perfect for piecing because they are usually large, outline images that lend themselves well to cutting. I selected Kioshi papers because they sing spring to me - I love the soft purples, greens, and apricots of this set! I coordinated purple twine and ink to finish the card and added some Stickles for a bit of shimmer! One last thing you'll see is that I've curved the sentiment to align with the ray stamp. As I've mentioned before, acrylic stamps are so flexible you can bend them pretty much any way you want to!

Have fun and don't forget to link up by Sunday!

Supplies: Stamps - Lunar Lights (Lawn Fawn), DP - Kioshi Collection (Basic Gray), Card Stock - Vintage Cream (PTI), Twine (May Arts), Ink - Basic Black, Perfect Plum (SU!), Foam Squares, Stickles
