A couple of days ago, Verve had a Diva Inspiration blog hop and it is so fun to see so many beautiful creations with such a variety of sets! In addition to their hop, they set up a little fan hop, too! I didn't have any particular ideas in mind so I closed my eyes, reached into my box of Verve stamps, and pulled out Because of You. I love this set and it is the perfect time of year for a Mother's Day card!Last night I was working on some Easter projects (check back Saturday to see them!) and had my springy American Crafts papers out. When I spied these in the pile, I thought they'd be a gorgeous backdrop for that pretty floral image. I pieced the flowers twice, popping one up for dimension, added purple seam binding ribbon and a pretty rhinestone button for some sparkle.

Lovely bright colours in the DP and a lovely touch with the seam binding. Lovely card.

I've been meaning to show you my first Verve creation on my blog, but the card still hasn't arrived to Malta, where I sent it... I'll wait till the weekend and then I'll post it anyway, it's with the cute, cute, cute birdies in pretty suits! Love that one!
