Faith

I have two posts today! If you are looking for my Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge card, click here or scroll down just a tad (but I think you'll have fun reading this post, too!) :)
Welcome to the spring Operation Write Home Bunny Hop! If you're here from Sherry's blog, you're in the right spot. If you're just visiting, head over to OWH to get started! I promise there will be a lot of crafty inspiration and some goodies up for grabs along the way!

Today is blog hop day at Operation Write Home and I am such a huge fan of the work that Sandy and her team do, I "hopped" all over the chance to participate!

If you are a card maker and have extra cards with no homes, may I suggest donating them to OWH? Our troops love getting handmade cards to send back to their loved ones. Trust me, some of the stories I read on the Hero Blog bring tears to my eyes! Remember to send cards early since they have to make it to our deployed heroes in time to send back in time for the holidays. The deadline for Easter cards is March 18th; Mother's Day cards by March 31st.

I made this Easter card from the lovely Waltzingmouse Stamps Spring Baskets set (there are so many goodies for Easter/Spring cards in this set, you'll love it!) and those cheery Dear Lizzy spring papers. I paper pieced the eggs and the big bow on the basket and colored the basket with a Copic marker. Paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques and so I will be linking this card up to the challenge at Moxie Fab, too!

If all of what you've seen and read about so far isn't enough, I'd love to offer one lucky commenter a little prize for joining me today! I have a big box of punched shapes that I've never used that I'd love to see go to a good home along with this brand new text stamp -

To have a chance to win both, just leave a comment by Midnight Pacific Time next Friday (3/11) and I'll announce the winner on the blog next Saturday! Easy peasy!

Thanks so much for visiting! Now head on over to Corinna's blog for more crafty goodness!

Supplies: Stamps - Spring Baskets (WMS), DP/Ribbon - Dear Lizzy Spring Collection (American Crafts), Copic Markers, Foam Squares, Cuttlebug, Dies - Labels 10 (Spellbinders), Card Stock - Select White (PTI)
