Fabulous Birthday

Today I'm sharing a card made with the Fabulous Birthday set from Stampin' D'Amour and it is fabulous! So many great images for birthday cards, including this fun cupcake! I was inspired by this color palette at Color Throwdown - I selected some patterned papers in the colors above and used a kraft card base and some pearls that I think were supposed to be gold but are a little on the brown side - perfect to match this card! I pieced the frosting out of a coordinating paper and used a Copic Marker to color the paper and the candle. A bit of yellow Stickles made the wee flame! Thank you for visiting and have a lovely day!

Supplies: Stamps - Fabulous Birthday (SDA), DP - Mediterranean Stack (DCWV), Card Stock - Crumb Cake, Whisper White (SU!), Pearls (Oriental Trading Co.), Ink - Basic Black (SU!), Copic Markers, Stickles, Ribbon (MemrieMere), Cuttlebug, Labels 10 (Spellbinders)

  1. What a stylish and elegant card Jen, love the soft colours you used. Hugs Gemma

  2. Hi Jen!

These colors are lovely together, though I never would have thought of them myself! Pretty papers you used!! Looks like it has shiny details as well. And the cupcake looks delicious!

    Wishing you a lovely day!

  3. Jen - It looks "fabulous"! Love the soft pastel color combination. :)

  4. So, so pretty Jen, loving the pastel colors.

  5. I'm sooo lovin' that beautiful orange color. Love the sentiment going circular around the cupcake too. Adorable. :)
