Trust in the Lord

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the latest Diva Dare challenge over on the Verve Stamps blog! The theme this month is "April showers bring May Flowers" and I couldn't resist some of my favorite flowers from the Love's Flower set!

I used two coordinating papers for the card base and prettied up the seam with some lace trim. I inked up the edges of a white doily and attached a circle die cut to the center with an amazing verse. I finished the card with two paper-pieced flowers using the same paper pad (Modern Homemaker from October Afternoon) and used some pearls for their centers. The flowers are popped off of the card for some extra dimension.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Supplies: Stamps - Love's Flower, PJ008 (Verve), DP - Modern Homemaker (October Afternoon), Card Stock - Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla (SU!), Foam Squares, Dies (Spellbinders), Pearls (Martha Stewart), Doily (Wilton), Ink - Real Red (SU!), Tea Dye Duo (PTI)
