Home Sweet Home

Hello friends! Today I'm excited to show you my reveal for this week's Papercraft Star challenge which is all about photo inspiration and a recipe to use at least one die cut or stamped image, a metal element or button, and two different patterned papers -

When I first saw this photo, I noticed the chocolate-covered pretzels first and built my card around the brown, green, and red colors of the photo for my card. I stamped and cut out the little house, used a 1/2" punch to make the little tree tops, and finished the card with a bright yellow button "sun" tied with twine.

I can't wait to see what you come up with this week! Don't forget to link up by Sunday because voting starts on Monday! Have fun!

Supplies: Stamps - Home Sweet Home (XX), DP - Earth Love (Cosmo Cricket), Card Stock - Vintage Cream (PTI), Ink - Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Riding Hood Red (SU!), Twine (Country Clean), Button (Favorite Findings), Copic Markers, Foam Squares

  6. It never ceases to amaze me how differently each of us views the same picture. With my love of chocolate you would think I would have zeroed in on those pretzels too. :-) This is really cute Jen. it has a great homey feel and I absolutely adore that big "sun" button. Fabulous job!

  8. Jen, the little trees are darling. But I really like the patterned papers you chose for the hills. The design looks just like grass. How perfect!
