Today I have a project to share with you that I made using the new dies offered by Waltzingmouse Stamps! I have to admit to being a bit of a fussy cut snob over the years, actually preferring scissor work to die cuts… until now! The DT each got one set of new dies for the newest release and then everyone swapped cuts and I've been having a ball using mine! I used the foliage and pine cone dies for this card and am absolutely in love with them!
I started out with a red card base and covered it with some kraft holiday paper embellished with silver snowflakes. I added the stamped sprig and pinecones, a sentiment sticker and a couple of bronze star brads. Easy peasy but a great woodland look for the holidays! :)
Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you have a chance to visit these other crafty ladies participating in the blog event -

ReplyDeleteThis card is elegant and like you I was a fussy cutter but it seems the dies rock and are so much quicker especially if you have a lot of cards to do keep having fun
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! You've used the stamp+die combination beautifully - and now that you have one die, oh my...the love will just get bigger and bigger!! Thanks for sharing!
