Waltzingmouse Stamps - August Release Blog Hop!

Hello friends and welcome to the new release blog hop with Waltzingmouse Stamps!  I am so excited about this release and hope you are, too!  There are 9 new sets this month - something for everyone!  :) If you are here from Jeanne's blog, you're in the right spot.  If not, head over to the WMS blog to get started!
For  my project, I went back to two of the nautical sets, Safe Harbour Sentiments and Ocean Bound and Pinstripe Backgrounder.  I started with a navy base and then stamped a panel of white card stock with the pinstripe stamp.  I wanted a more subtle look so I layered a panel of vellum over the stripes.  I added some red, striped ribbon and a small panel stamped with one of the sentiments from Safe Harbour.  I stamped two images from Ocean Bound, cut them out, and added them to the card.  I finished with some rope twine and a couple of red gems.

Now for the fun part - a random drawing where the winner will be able to chose a stamp set of their choice!  A winner will be selected from comments left on all blogs (the more you comment, the better your chances to win!) by August 12 at 3:59 AM Pacific.  The winner will be announced on Claire’s blog on August 14th.

Thank you so much for visiting today and next up is Jean!

Supplies:  Stamps (WMS),  Cardstock - Whisper White, Night of Navy (SU!), Select White (PTI), Ink - Crumb Cake, Night of Navy (SU!), DP (Studio Calico), Ribbon (SU!), Gems (Martha Stewart), Rope Twine (SU!), Vellum (SU!)
