Birthday Wishes

Hello friends!  It sure has been a busy couple of days here on the blog but I wanted to take a few minutes to celebrate the birthday of a wonderful person I've met here in blog land, Jeanne Jachna!  I met her through Waltzingmouse Stamps and we are fellow Mischief Makers so I thought it was fitting to use some WMS in this birthday card!

I've had these new, Bird Song papers for a while now and haven't had the chance to put them to use until now.  I split the background panel in two, covered the seam with some wonderful pleated ribbon, stamped a label from Labels 18 and sentiment from Fancy Phrases and then finished the card with some stick pins and sequins (I really can't get enough of them lately!)

Thanks so much for visiting today and here are a few other blogs you might want to visit to continue the party!  :)

  3. What a wonderful card. I love how you worked those stick pins in. I am insanely jealous of you living in San Francisco. I lived there for many years, and I miss it every day!
