Hello friends! Today I have a card to share with you that I made for my husband! This week's Kraft Journal challenge is all about "fun shapes" and I thought this owl and the banner were pretty fun!
I just got some new papers in the mail - the Tiny Trees line from Kaisercraft which came with some really cute die cuts. I started with a base of buff ivory cardstock and layered a couple of the coordinating papers. I made a banner from some chipboard shapes that I covered with another coordinating paper, some hemp cord, and attached it to the card with a couple of mini clothespins.
My husband and I always ask each other "Who?" which is short for "who loves you?" and "who's your bear?" (a term of endearment between us) and I thought the little owl and that banner were perfect for him! He loved the card but when I gave it to him last night and said "I made this for you!", he said "No you didn't, you made it for your blog." Such is the trouble with the blog - most everything I make is shared! But, I will make it up to him and will make him a card that isn't going to be seen by anyone but him.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you all create with this challenge! Link up by Sunday for a chance to be one of our Top Three and for a chance to win a voucher to The Kraft Outlet!
