Go You

Hello friends! Today I have a wonderful card to share with you for this week's Kraft Journal Challenge 35 - Something Grand (in honor of Grandparent's Day). I used a number of great Kraft Outlet accessories to make this card - Film Strip Ribbon, Journaling Tickets, and Tea Dye Distress Ink.

My card was inspired by and is dedicated to my late Grandma Pearl. Grandma Pearl was born and raised during the depression and relocated from Minnesota to San Francisco during WWII where my dad was born. She was a no-nonsense kind of gal who didn't outwardly show much affection but we all knew how much she loved us. Grandma Pearl always encouraged me to be the best I could do in everything I undertook and was so proud of my career and the life I was building here. I wish she knew my husband (she passed a month before I met him) but I know she approves!

Link up before 6pm ET next Sunday for a chance to win some great prizes and to be selected one of our Top Three!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies: Stamps - Vintage Banners (WMS), DP - Boardwalk Collection (G45), Film Strip Ribbon, Distress Ink, Journaling Tickets (Tim Holtz), Ink - Basic Black, Riding Hood Red (SU!), Cardstock - Basic Black (SU!), Glitter Star (MemrieMare)
