Moxie Fab Lanterns

Okay, four posts in four days?! I think this is some type of record!

I've been wanting to participate in one of Cath's Tuesday Triggers for the longest time but for whatever reason just couldn't get it together prior to this week! I adore the lantern photo she chose and thought my new set from WMS was just the ticket!

The photo reminded me of an elegant evening outdoors so I thought I'd kick up the lanterns a notch by embossing them with gold and silver embossing powder. I cut them out, pierced a hole in each, and strung them on some gold twine. I attached each using a foam square in such a way that they'd look like they were swinging a bit in a light evening breeze. The blue cardstock I used for the background has a bit of a shimmer as well making this a very elegant card!

Supplies - Stamps - Asian Gardens/Additions (WMS), Cardstock - Papertrey Ink, Ink - Watermark (Versamark), Silver, Twine - Crafta, Foam Squares
