Friends Forever

Hello from Charlotte! This week I'm here on business and boy has it been hot! Being from San Francisco is great but we're spoiled with really temperate weather. This week I've gotten to experience 98 degrees with very high humidity. I may be a wimp but I am really not used to this heat! :)

Anyway just a quick post from me to share this card I made with the Modern Homemaker collection from October Afternoon and some adorable Lawn Fawn stamps.

Oh, I haven't heard from my winner! Dont forget to send me a note by Friday or I'll have to pick another one!

  1. Great card. Yea, humidity (even though I'm from Iowa and should be used to it) now really gets to me when I go some place that has it. Hope you are surviving! :)

  2. hey: I just became one of your followers!!
Your cards are always so beautiful and perfectly made! And I do love that October Afternoon paper you've been using on the last few cards. (Love all their stuff!) Hope you get home soon and out of that hot, humid weather!!! And no, you're not a wimp, we're just luckier than those of our fellow citizens who are in those humid, hot areas!! give me an earthquake once every 10 or so years if I can keep my good weather!! :-)

  3. Fun card, Jen! What a lovely image that is!!! Just watched the movie Mona Lisa Smile again last week and this reminds me of that! The perfect housewife, hi hi. Great card! Oef, I agree, I don't really like heat or humidity, I'm surely also not used to it!! Hope you had a good time!!! By the way, I emailed you for the Papertrey stamps, but I have a different way this time, a friend is going to US and told me to bring them back for me, so no shipping at all, hi hi, that's even better! ;-) But the offer on the Dutch stamps still stands of course!!!
Hugs & wishing you a lovely day!

  4. This is S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G. I have a place in my heart for vintage and this is one the best cards based upon a vintage look that I'ver ever seen. Love it!
