I've been just smitten with my daughter lately and I think I *might* be ready to start working on her baby book! I don't know what is taking me so long - maybe that I want it to be so perfect, I just can't get moving on it. Anyway, I made this card for her. :) I cut a Stitched Tag with the largest die in the set and layered it on a couple of patterned papers. I added the heart cutout from My Heart and the coordinating dies and Amelia Grace's initials from Woodenheart Alphabet. I finished the card with a big bow and a row of glittered hearts. Here is my big girl -

ReplyDeleteShe's such a cutie - who wouldn't be smitten with her? I can see where your 'pink' colour scheme is probably coming from too.
ReplyDeleteYour creation is adorable ... and so is your card!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, she is too adorable, just adorable, at that perfect age of discovery. Sorry, this is about your card, I love the colors, really cute.

ReplyDeleteGood afternoon Jen,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely wee card to make for your baby girl. Her album should be about her changing and you changing as you go through the wonderful stages of motherhood. Start her album flower and then as she grows so will it and your passion and as you look back through the years, it is amazing how you will both have grown.
Love and crafty hugs

P.s Amelia Grace is a wee stoater
Love what you have done with the tag dies, they are very versatile.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
Best wishes
Brenda

ReplyDeleteWhat a special card. I am sure your cute little girl will be so appreciative of this when she gets older. Lovely job. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is beautiful!! I love your tag, too!
ReplyDeleteYour little one is so so cute! I really love the sparkle border!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet baby, and the card is perfect for a sweet little girl. And Start the baby book soon. You'll continue to grow in your artistic abilities as you go along, and you'll look back and see the changes in your style, but you've got to capture the moments and memories of your little girl and get them down on paper while they are fresh in your mind. My daughters look back at their scrapbooks, and I've noticed that they aren't looking at the art I did on the pages, but at the pictures and what was written. And no matter what you make, your daughter will love looking back on it and seeing what you have recorded. So happy to see your little one!!! Hugs, H in Healdsburg
