Cards Magazine - January 2012

Hello friends! Today I have a post for a card that is featured in the January issue of Cards Magazine! I was so thrilled to have this card chosen as it was a new technique for me and one of the first cards I created as a member of the Rubbernecker Stamps DT!

I stamped the Dark Garden background stamp three times in varying shades of blue and then carefully cut the panels into strips and reassembled them on the front of the card. I finished the card with a sentiment tag tied to shabby ribbon.

Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Stamps - Dark Garden BG, Just Because (RN), Cardstock - Crumb Cake (SU!), Vintage Cream (PTI), Ribbon (Memriemare), Vintage Button, Twine (PTI), Tag Die (Spellbinders), Ink - Brocade Blue, Brilliant Blue, Night of Navy (SU!), Cuttlebug

  2. What a beautiful card, Jen! I love the stamping technique with the gradation of color. The trio of blues on that elegant image mixed with the kraft is just delicious. Love the seam binding bow, too. Congratulations on your pub!
