Birthday Wishes

Welcome to another fabulous challenge at Papercraft Star! This week, we're challenging you to create a project based on this photo -
Because banners are all the rage right now, I couldn't help but be inspired by this gorgeous banner and all of the fun colors in this photo to make my birthday card. I made this simple banner by using a diamond-shaped punch, folding the diamonds in half along some twine, and then adhering it to the card base - such a perfect way to use up scraps! I stamped the sentiment and a few hearts to jazz up the background and finished the card with a few wee twine bows.

I can't wait to see what you create this week! Remeber to link up by Sunday and you all get to vote for the winner (one of the great things that makes Papercraft Star such a great challenge site!) Have fun!!

Supplies - Stamps - Fancy Phrases (WMS), Card Stock/Twine (PTI), Ink - Basic Black, Riding Hood Red (SU!), DP (various manufacturers from my scrap drawer)

P.S. Have you received my package? I didn't send it with a code, 'cause there was only 'candy' in it, so I can not trace it... :-( but hope it reaches you soon, so you can enjoy!! ;-)

  6. I love the white space behind the banners. It makes the card feel light and airy, like a warm summer day. (ok that sounded kind of poetic...lol) But I truly really admire your clean and classic style.
