Hello friends! Today I've got a fun card to share with you that I made for this week's reveal over at Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge! This fun sketch was drawn up by DT member, Anya -
I love the simplicity of this sketch and how many different ways the Mischief Makers took it! I love how we all have such fun and different styles!
When I got home from vacation this week, I had a big box with a ton of new CHA releases in it waiting for me and the Phantom Collection was in it. Even while on vacation, I was dreaming of making holiday cards as soon as I got home, lol!
I cut three strips from three different coordinating papers, and cut a lacey square from a fourth, stamped the decomposed fingers (how many blogs talk about those things?! lol!) image from Wanda's Pantry and stamped the sentiment and some bats for a more spooky touch.
Link up by next Friday for a chance to be Top Mouse and winning a stamp set of your very own!
Thanks for visiting!
Supplies: Stamps - Wanda's Pantry, Halloween Party, Gracie at Halloween (WMS), DP - Phantom Collection (Pink Paislee), Cardstock - Basic Black, Very Vanilla (SU!), Ink - Basic Black (SU!), Dies (Spellbinders)

Love this Halloween card - the backing papers are just super and work brilliantly with that stamp! Love it!
ReplyDeleteGotta say this is the first blog post I have ever read that talked about decomposing fingers! However, I totally get it and love your take on the sketch. The patterned papers are gorgeous, yet Halloween scary. I love that you make your focal point a square shape. Great inspiration this week.
ReplyDeleteLove what you've done with this sketch Jen!! How fun are the papers, the bats, and your, oh so lovely, decomposed fingers....frame!! ;*) What a fabulously fun card!!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, that paper...
