Happy Saturday, everyone! I don't know about you but I've had a super busy week (training at work all week, trying to actually do work around it, meeting new friends (Wendy and Pim were here in San Francisco this week and we had so much hanging out with them, and I even got to stamp with a couple of WM ladies last Saturday!), and trying to get some crafty time in between it all. I am very much looking forward to some down time this weekend! :)
Today I've got a card I made for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge using this fabby sketch as inspiration! I've been having a lot of fun with round cards lately and this one was no exception!
I started with some fun new papers from Bo Bunny that I used for the background of the card and also to paper piece the poinsettia. I stamped the medium poinsettia twice and cut layers to pop up a bit. I then stamped and cut out the small poinsettia from the set to make the top layer and added some liquid pearls to the center.
I finished the card with a bitty banner with a holiday message and a coordinating decorative brad.
Supplies: Stamps - Say it Loud (Winter Holiday), Big Blooms - Poinsettia, Bitty Banners (WMS), DP/Embellishments - Father Christmas Collection (Bo Bunny), Cardstock - Select White (PTI), Dies (Spellbinders), Cuttlebug, foam tape, Liquid Pearls, Ink - Basic Black, Forest Foliage (SU!)
