World's Greatest Dad

Hello friends!  Today we have a special treat for you - a combined blog hop with Rubbernecker Stamps and The Twinery!  If you're here from Teri's blog, you're in the right spot!  If not, head over to the Stampin' Sisterhood blog to get started!
The minute I got the twine, I knew I wanted to make something out of it rather than tying buttons or wrapping it around paper panels which is what I normally do.  With Father's Day coming up, I chose the Greatest Dad stamp and thought a twine tie would be a great accompaniment!  I traced a tie shape onto some cream cardstock, put some glue down, and then trimmed the twine to fit.

Now for the good stuff - the prizes!!  The Twinery will be giving away the sampler pack shown below and Rubbernecker will be giving away the stamp set of choice!  To be eligible to win, please leave a comment on each blog on the hop by 11:59pm EDT, Friday, June 8th.

Thanks so much for visiting today!  Now head over to Jessica's blog for more inspiration!

Supplies:  Stamps (Rubbernecker), Twine (The Twinery), Gem (Recollections), Cardstock - Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla (SU!), Ink - Chocolate Chip (SU!), Tea Dye Duo (PTI)

Rubbernecker Stamps June Challenge

Hello friends!  Today is the first Sunday of the month and that means a new challenge with Rubbernecker Stamps!  Check out this fun inspiration photo -
Since I didn't have any graduation stamps from Rubbernecker, I decided to go with the reds and browns from the photo for my card instead.  I started off with an oval tag from French General and stamped the wildflower silhouette in a light tan ink and filled in the centers of the flowers with red pearls.  I used some new Teresa Collins papers and buttons as well as a recycled piece of packaging from the tags.

Thanks for visiting and I sure hope you have a chance to play along with us this month!  Head over to the Stampin' Sisterhood blog for all of the details!

Supplies:  Stamps (RN), DP/Buttons - Fabrications: Linen (Teresa Collins), Twine (The Twinery), Cardstock - Chocolate Chip (SU!), Ink - Crumb Cake (SU!), Pearls (Hero Arts)

Thinking About You

Hello friends and welcome to Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #100!  What a wonderful milestone and I'm happy to say I've played along with nearly every single one (I think I've only missed a couple in the last 2 years!)  It wouldn't be a celebration without some prizes and I think you'll be happy to know that a free stamp set will be given out for every 50 participants and we'll be choosing a guest designer to join us Mischief Makers June 15 - July 7!  What?!  Yes!!
For my card, I went with a pin board theme (I love old school pin boards and look forward to having my studio so I can hang mine up again!) and chose Very Vintage Labels 5 and probably my most used set, Fancy Phrases.  I stamped the label in red ink and the sentiment in navy and layered them over some cork patterned paper and a map paper that I splotched with some Mister Huey.  I finished the card with an airmail sticker, a map rosette, a couple of chipboard stickers and a balsa wood camera.

I hope you're as excited as I am about this week's challenge and I can't wait to see what you all create!  Oh, and you can play along even if you don't have any WMS by using one of a number of free digis in the shop!

Supplies:  Stamps (WMS), DP/Sticker/Rosette - Story Teller collection (Crate Paper), Notebook Die (PTI), Cuttlebug, Mister Huey (Studio Calico), Cardstock - Light Kraft (The Kraft Outlet), Select White (PTI), Balsa Wood Camera (Studio Calico), Ink - Real Red, Not Quite Navy (SU!), Labels 5 Die (Spellbinders)

Sew Happy for You

Hello friends!  Welcome to the June sketch challenge at The Craft's Meow!  You don't have to use TCM stamps to enter the challenge.  However, if you are the winner and you used TCM stamps, you will not only with a TCM set of your choice as a prize but also a coupon for 15% off one additional stamp set of choice which can be used one time within 30 days!  How cool is that?!
I started off with some Dear Lizzy papers, stamping two of the images from Sew Happy and then fussy cutting them out.  I stamped the sentiment onto another sheet of paper and layered everything on top of a coordinating tag.  I finished the card with some ribbon, a chipboard bow, some crochet trim, and a couple of heart stick pins.

Supplies:  Stamps (TCM), DP/Ribbon/Chipboard - Neapolitan collection (American Crafts), Stick Pins (Joann), Ink - Basic Black (SU!), Crochet Trim (Joann), Cardstock - Only Orange (SU!), foam squares

Nothing but Blue Skies

Hello friends!  This week I'm traveling for work but I couldn't leave you hanging without sharing something creative!  I've had fun with my new What's Up collection lately and made this card for the 2012 Gallery Idol competition.  I used a background paper with clouds and the "come fly with me" phrase, cut out the buildings from another paper and layered them atop the cloud paper and then finished the card with a chipboard banner, cardstock sticker cloud, and some colorful brads.

Thanks for visiting today and I'll be back on Friday with something for the new monthly challenge at The Craft's Meow!

Supplies:  DP/Embellishments - What's Up collection (Basic Gray), foam squares
