This is my second post for today. If you're looking for The Play Date Cafe color story, please scroll down.
Hello friends, and welcome to day four of the fabulous September release at The Craft's Meow! I hope you've been enjoying what you've seen so far and there's just one more day until you can purchase them yourselves! Yay!
Without further ado, I'd like to introduce you to "Good Times" by Kaitlyn Ord and wow, is this a fun set! I stamped the big chevron image in embossing ink over a sheet of patterned paper and embossed it using white embossing powder. I stamped two sentiments from the set onto the patterned paper and one inside one of the frames on a sheet of white cardstock. I fussy cut that one out and taped it to the card using some washi tape. I finished the card with a button, pin, and a bingo marker.
This second card features the new "Golden Days" set by Karen Baker and I just adore the leaves and sentiments in this one! I stamped the sentiment and flourish from the set onto some patterned paper, wrapped it with some brown twine and adhered that onto a brown card base. I then stamped the leaves in yellow ink and then the edges right into the red ink which gave the leaves the fun yellow centers.
Thanks so much for visiting today and don't forget to leave a comment back on the TCM blog for a chance to win the sets you see here today! And, the big release blog hop is tomorrow so I'll see you back then!

ReplyDeleteFantastic cards~love them both!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, especially love the second, beautiful papers/colors!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your BEAUTIFUL creations!! THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
ReplyDeleteOh my, I like that second-color-straight-from-the-ink-pad technique. I guess it's a lot like inking the stamp in two colors, but you don't really have to worry about transferring ink between pads as long as the first color is dry when you do the second color... I don't know if it would work as well with my pigment inks as it has here with what I assume are dye inks.
ReplyDeleteDid I mention it's gorgeous? It's gorgeous.
Beautiful cards today, I adore your eclectic style here.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, I especially love the falling leaves card!
