Sodas in SoHo

This is my second post of the day - if you are looking for my "12 Days of Holiday Projects" post, please scroll down!

Hello friends!  Today is reveal day at Paper Made Bakery and I'm so excited to share a project I made with the brand new, December kit, Sodas in SoHo!  This kit is full of such fun colors and patterns, I've sure loved creating with it so far!  :)
For this card, I started out with one of the navy card bases (it is so fun because it is embossed with a swiss dots pattern!) and covered it with some newsprint floral paper included in the SoHo Garden mini deck.  I used white cardstock to cut a label and stamped it with two of the sentiments included in the stamp set.  I cut a smaller label in another one of the patterned papers and then pieced two of the soda bottles in more coordinating papers.  Aren't they cute?  I finished the card with two of the paper flowers and buttons from the kit.  The little bit of baker's twine I used on the buttons isn't included but check out all of the goodies that are...
Here are links to the rest of the DT and I sure hope you have a chance to visit all of the blogs to see the wonderful inspiration with this fun kit!

No Peeking

Hello friends!  Today I have another project to share for our "12 Days of Holiday Projects"!  I'm having a lot of fun sharing these projects with you and hope you are getting some holiday inspiration!

For this project, I started off with a medium shipping tag and stamped/embossed the sentiment using gold powder vertically down the side of the tag.  I then used strips of washi tape to cover a sheet of cardstock and then used a tree die to cut it out.  I love how it turned out!  I finished the tag with some crinkle ribbon and a big, glittery star.

Holiday Howdy

Hello friends!  Today is brand new sketch reveal day at Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge and this week we have this beauty by Mischief Maker, Iwona -

I have trouble with offset layers so this sketch was a challenge for me but I like how my card came out! I stamped one of the stars from Yonder Star and embossed it with silver embossing powder.  I layered it on top of a couple of different sheets of western-themed papers and embellishments and then added the "holiday howdy" sentiment.  Very fun and a little outside the box for me because I usually go with a traditional color palette for holiday cards.  I think this one is fun and know just who to send it to!

Thanks so much for visiting and before you go, I wanted to tell you about the big "12 Days of Holiday Projects Blog Event" where for each of the next 12 days, you will see all sorts of holiday goodness on my blog and those of the crafty ladies you see below...

The Craft's Meow - New Release Blog Hop!

Hello friends!  Today is the big day, new release day - over at The Craft's Meow, where you will find all four sets we've been previewing this week, including Stitched Sentiments II which is the gift with purchase this month!  If you are hopping over from Jean's blog, you are in the right spot!  If not, head over to the TCM blog to get started!
I decided to use two sets, Zoom Goes My Heart and Valentine Wishes for this CAS card.  I took hearts from both sets and stamped them in pink and red onto a cream card base.  I added the "XO" sentiment from Valentine wishes and stamped it diagonally across the card.  I love how easy these sets are to combine and I've tucked this card away for my hubby!

Now for the good stuff - a chance to win all four sets!!  Please visit and comment on each blog on the hop by 9pm, December 2nd.  Very cool!!

Thanks so much for visiting today and off you go to Jen's blog for more inspiration!

Supplies:  Stamps (TCM), Cardstock - Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip (SU!), Ink - Pretty in Pink, Real Red, Basic Black (SU!), Corner Chomper

The Craft's Meow - Day Four Previews!

This is my second post of the day.  If you are looking for this week's Play Date Cafe color splash, please scroll down.
Hello friends and welcome to preview week with The Craft's Meow where we will be showcasing four new sets that will be available for purchase on the 30th!  Today we are showcasing a set designed by Karen Baker called Zoom Goes My Heart!  This is a fun set with all sorts of images that you can use to build all sorts of cards!  I just love how great this set will be for all of the cards I make for my husband!
For this card, I started off with a couple of patterned papers and then stamped the meter and needle images and then built the sentiment with two more stamps.  See...so many possibilities!  I finished the card with a faceted gem that says "hubba bubba" - how cute is that?!

Thank you so much for visiting today and don't forget to leave a comment back on the TCM blog for a chance to win this set for yourself!
