A+

Hello friends! Today I have a card for you that was recently featured on The Craft's Meow blog as part of the Lily Pad Cards birthday hop! Since I didn't have any TCM birthday sentiments (not yet anyway...), I chose the cute "A+" sentiment that is part of the "Owl See You in Class" set. I think those little owls are sooo cute and am so happy to get to play with them on a regular basis!

I started off with a pre-cut card base (measures approximately 5x3), and stamped the background with the paper rule stamp then added the numbers in red ink for some pop. I finished the card with a pieced "blackboard" and little owl and pencil using the new Double Dutch collection from Lily Bee.

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you next time!

Supplies: Stamps (TCM), DP - Double Dutch Collection (Lily Bee), Cardstock - Whisper White, Basic Black (SU!), Ink - Crumb Cake, Craft White, Real Red, Basic Black (SU!), Copic Marker, Brad (SU!), foam squares

A More Colorful Place

Hello friends! Today I'm happy to share a card with you that I made for the new challenge from Rubbernecker Stamps! We've recently made a switch from a different challenge each week to one challenge per month. Here's the sketch you get to play with for April -I started off with a couple of sheets of patterned paper and I stamped the Map Background onto the lighter panel in chocolate ink and then layered it over a coordinating sheet of paper on a kraft background. I then stamped the sentiment from the Garden Phrase set on a circle die cut and then added some colorful flowers and stick pins around it.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a chance to play along with us this month since the winner will get to select the stamp set of their choosing! Head over to the Stampin' Sisterhood blog for all of the details!

Supplies: Stamps (Rubbernecker), DP (Iron Orchid Designs), Cardstock - Light Kraft (The Kraft Outlet), Select White (PTI), Ink - Chocolate Chip (SU!), Tea Dye Duo (PTI), Flowers/Stick Pins (Petaloo), Circle Die (Spellbinders), Cuttlebug, foam squares

Blessed, Loved, Cherished

Happy Sunday, friends! I hope you all are having a wonderful day! I've been looking forward to this weekend for a while since I've been on the go so much the past week and a half and am excited to have a bit of down time and some crafting time! Without further ado, I'd love to introduce you to this month's sketch challenge at The Craft's Meow - just look at this beauty!
I knew right away I wanted to use the butterflies from the new set, Beautiful Spring, and stamped them three times in varying shades of red. I punched three circles to set them off from the background paper and added some sheer ribbon, some stickles on the wings (so pretty - I wish you could see it in person!!), and finished the card with a sentiment from Cherished.

Head over to the blog for more details and information on the prize! I can't wait to see what you create!!

Supplies: Stamps (TCM), DP - Double Dutch Collection (Lily Bee), Cardstock - Light Kraft (The Kraft Outlet), Whisper White (SU!), Ink - Cameo Coral, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Basic Black (SU!), Stickles, Ribbon (Crafta), Circle Punch (SU!)

Bonjour

Hello friends! Today is the start of a new challenge at Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge and we have a one layer card for you today! Sometimes what first appears simple, isn't at all! I wondered if poking a hole in the card violated the one layer rule but I'm thinking not since it really is subtracting a layer, right? :)
I knew right away I wanted to use French Country and whenever I think of that style, blue and yellow come immediately to mind. I started off by stamping the background and then punching out the window with a Label 25 die. I traced the opening so I knew where to stamp on the inside and then stamped the label and the sentiment with the fleur de lys on the interior using navy ink. I finished the card with some stickles and a bit of twine.
Thanks for visiting and I sure hope you have a chance to play along! If you don't yet own any Waltzingmouse Stamps, there are a lot of freebies in the store that you can play along with. Remember, one random (and lucky!) participant will win the stamp set of their choice and three will be crowned Top Mouse!

Supplies: Stamps (Waltzingmouse), Cardstock - Select White (PTI), Ink - YoYo Yellow, Night of Navy (SU!), Stickles, Twine (Country Clean), Labels 25 Die (Spellbinders), Cuttlebug

Carte Postale

Hello friends! Today I have a card I made for the March sketch challenge at The Craft's Meow! Check out this gorgeous sketch from Nina - I started with a base of some patterned papers that I stamped with the postmark images from the Telegram set! I added a coordinating sticker (Carte Postale), a strip of glitter ribbon and a fleur de lys transparency.

If you haven't had a chance to play along, I encourage you to do so! You still have until the 31st at 9pm Pacific to link up! You don't have to use TCM stamps on your creation to enter the challenge and be eligible to win a TCM stamp set of your choice! Woo Hoo!! But, if you do use TCM stamps and you're the winner, you will win the set of your choice and a coupon for 15% off another stamp set of your choice!

Supplies: Stamps - Telegram (TCM), DP/Sticker/Transparency - French Kiss Collection (Glitz Design), Glitter Ribbon (American Crafts), Ink - Crumb Cake (SU!), foam squares

Thank You

Hello friends, today I am honored to be the Tuesday With the Team feature on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog! Each day there is so much wonderful inspiration, I encourage you to check it out! Today I have a card to share with you that has one of Rubbernecker's newest stamps - Journal Hearts (604-01)! I am in love with this stamp - think of all of the cute borders you can make!

I started off with my new Konnichiwa papers I've been positively dying to use since they arrived a couple of weeks ago. What perfect colors for spring! I stamped the Journal Hearts onto one of the papers and then stamped the Every Little Thing (122 SO) sentiment inside in chocolate ink to match the stripe in the background paper. I finished the card with some cardstock stickers from the collection and tied the little lantern with some twine and a rhinestone.

Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Stamps (Rubbernecker), DP/Embellishments - Konnichiwa Collection (Basic Gray), Rhinestone (Swarovski), Twine (May Arts), foam squares, Ink/Cardstock - Chocolate Chip (SU!)

Wild Adventures

Hello friends! This week's challenge over at The Kraft Journal is Western-themed and I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Before I get into the details of my card, I wanted to let you all know that this is my last week with The Kraft Journal! I am so grateful for Beth and Babette's confidence in me and my work and I've loved every minute with them and the rest of the Design Team! Happy Trails until we meet again... :)

I started with a base of medium kraft cardstock and used some patterned paper and a journaling card from the Sasparilla collection from October afternoon. I just love that bandana print! I added some Adage Tickets, some film strip ribbon, and a seam binding bow and finished the card with a little cowboy hat charm tied with some baker's twine.

Link up by Sunday for a chance to be chosen one of our Top Three and one lucky participant will be entered in a drawing for a Kraft Outlet gift certificate! Fun!

Supplies: Cardstock - Medium Kraft (TKP), DP/Journaling Card - Sasparilla Collection (OA), Seam Binding (7 Gypsies), Baker's Twine (TKO), Charm (Oriental Trading Company), Filmstrip Ribbon/Adage Tickets (Tim Holtz), Ink - Tea Dye Duo (PTI)
