Your Letters Are Priceless

Hello friends!  Today I'm thrilled to share a card with you that is currently featured in Paper Crafts' Card Creations 10!  I knew the issue was coming out but honestly couldn't remember exactly what the card had on it so I was as just as surprised as anyone to see it in print!  :)

I started with a red card base, layered with a vintage dictionary page that I stamped with a postmark stamp from a the Opera set from Rubbernecker Stamps.  I layered two die cuts on top using some foam squares for dimension and added some international postage stamps I found while on vacation last summer!  I added the Netherlands and Spain in honor of two of our favorite trips and just thought the other three were pretty!  :)  I'm also linking this to the Postage Challenge at Moxie Fab World!

Thanks for visiting!

Supplies:  Stamp (Rubbernecker), Vintage Dictionary Pages (The Kraft Outlet), Die Cuts (7 Gypsies), Ink - Chocolate Chip (SU!), Cardstock - Real Red (SU!), foam squares, vintage postage stamps

With Love

Hello friends!  Today marks the beginning of a new sketch challenge at Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge with this beauty from DT member, Lynn!  I just love all of the layers and can't wait to see what you make with it!  I'm also going to submit this card for the Moxie Fab World's Gingham Challenge!
I've had these MME papers for a little while now and haven't really had a chance to use them and thought they matched the summery weather we've been having in the city this week.  I started off with a kraft base that I stamped with one of the stamps from Gingham & Co. using white craft ink.  I layered two coordinating patterned papers together and stamped the top one with the oval and a sentiment from Cameo to Go.  I finished the card with some twine and a flower sticker that coordinates with the papers.

Have fun with this one and remember, one random participant will win the WMS set of their choice!!

Amour

Hello friends!  Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the Runway Inspired challenge!  A lot of the bloggers I follow have been playing along with this new challenge and I've been patiently waiting for my chance, too!  Check out this amazing inspiration photo -
I used the gray and pale pink color combo of the ensemble and used some patterned papers to replicate the look of the top.  I finished the card off with a stamped label, a giant (amazing!) flower, and some fun feathers.

Supplies:  Stamps - Paris Nouveau (WMS), DP - Nature Garden (Prima), Flower (Prima), Pearls (Beadaholique), Feathers (Etsy), Cardstock - Whisper White, Barely Blush (SU!), Cuttlebug, Labels 25 (Spellbinders), Mister Huey - Pinstripe (Studio Calico)

You Turn Me On

Hello friends!  Anyone besides me having trouble getting the hang of the new Blogger?  I like it but I have absolutely no muscle memory for it yet and it takes me forever to set up posts, lol!

Anyway, enough of that!  Today I have a card to share with you that I made with some new Paper Smooches stamps!  How cute are those little tv sets?!  And, that sentiment is just perfect!  I pieced the tvs, screens, and hearts out of three different papers and then adhered them to a third which I edge punched so the sentiment was easy to read.  I finished the tvs with some little pipe cleaner antennas.  Too cute!

Supplies:  Stamps (Paper Smooches), DP - Campfire collection (October Afternoon), Ink - Basic Black (SU!), Edge Punch (Fiskars), Pipe Cleaners (October Afternoon), foam squares, Corner Chomper

Baby

Hello friends!  Today is the first Sunday of the month and that means a new challenge from Rubbernecker Stamps!  Head over to the Stampin' Sisterhood blog for all of the details!
I started off with some papers from my Konnichiwa collection - loving these!!  I used the baby rattle stamp to stamp three rattles and popped the center one up with some foam tape for dimension.  I finshed the card with letter stickers to spell out "baby" and some twine.

Thanks for visiting and I sure hope you have a chance to play along with us this month!  The winner will win the Rubbernecker set of their choice!!

Supplies:  Stamp (RN), DP/Stickers - Konnichiwa collection (Basic Gray), Twine (Trendy Twine), foam squares, Cardstock - Select White (PTI)

Birthday Wishes

Hello friends!  I'm sorry for being away this week - it's been a combination of things from my sister visiting last weekend and not having much crafty time and that most of what I've been making has been set aside to submit to magazines!  I'll have a flood of things to share once I know what hasn't been picked up...  :)  Anyway, on to the sketch and this week at Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge, we have this beauty from Kelly -

I'm a recent subscriber to the Studio Calico kits and everything from this card came in the April kit.  It is fun to get surprises in the mail - I love these papers but the colors aren't something I'd choose on my own.  I'm excited to see what's coming in the May kit - I just got my shipping notice the other day!  I started off with a couple of patterned papers from the kit and then lined the oval wooden frame with another.  I covered the seam with some washi tape and then used some butterfly stickers at the top of the oval.  I stamped the butterfly image from Nordic Spring using embossing ink onto some vellum and then embossed it with white embossing powder.  I stamped the birthday sentiment from Asian Gardens at the bottom of the card to finish it off.

Thanks for visiting today and I sure hope you have a chance to play along!   I can't wait to see what you create with this sketch!!

Supplies:  Stamps (WMS), DP/Frame/Butterfly Stickers/Washi Tape (Studio Calico), Ink - Basic Gray (SU!), Big and Bossy (Ranger), Pearls (Beadaholique), Cardstock - Select White (PTI), Vellum (SU!), Embossing Powder (SU!)

Life is Good

Hello friends!  Today marks the beginning of another great sketch challenge at The Craft's Meow!  Check out this beauty designed by Nina -

I started out with some new Studio Calico papers (I just signed up for the kit club and I'm so excited!), stamped the bicycle from Vintage Rides on to the white print, and colored it with some coordinating Copic Markers.  I used some Glossy Accents on the seat and then pieced some balloons and popped them up for some dimension.  Can you tell I flipped the sketch on it's side?  Can you see the clouds acting as my scallops?  I hope so!  :)

Thanks for visiting!

Supplies:  Stamps - Vintage Rides (TCM), DP/Chipboard Clouds - Abroad Collection (Studio Calico), Copic Markers, Ink - Basic Black (SU!), Glossy Accents, Cardstock - Basic Black (SU!), foam squares
