Hello friends and welcome to the first of a 3-day The Twinery and Ruby Rock-It blog hop! If you are here from Beckie's blog, you are in the right spot! If not, head over to The Twinery blog to get started!
Today I'm showcasing products from the Oriental Chic collection and had so much fun playing with these great papers and embellishments!
For my first two projects, I chose to make identical tags using one of the foil papers. All I did was cut out a strip of two of the fun images on a 12x12 sheet and they fit perfectly on the medium kraft tags! I layered a sticker fro the collection and tiny tag stamped with an Asian motif and font atop the tag and finished it with some sparkle twine.
My final project is a card I made with another of the foil papers - can you tell I love the foil papers on kraft?! :) I accidentally cut the top of one of the stickers when trying to open the package (I get a little rambunctious with scissors when I have new products to play with...) but found I could tuck the cut edge against the edge of the patterned paper and nobody is the wiser!
I layered one of the wooden embellishments across the card that I stamped with the same Asian motifs and fonts as I used with the tags and finished the card with some gold gems and sparkle twine.
Thanks so much for visiting today! Next up is Melaina. Be sure to comment along the way for the fabulous prizes up for grabs!
